CRM Software News & Views

System integrators bring together individual component systems to ensure that all systems function together, share information and permit consolidated data viewing. Systems integrators work in many industries but the term is often referenced in the information technology (IT) industry.

Within the CRM software industry, system integrators integrate legacy and new systems for data input, processing, interpreting, storing, and reporting. Despite the rapid growth of the cloud computing or Software as a Service (SaaS) CRM software market, system integration business requirements remain largely unchanged, although the tools and methods (such as Platform as a Service (PaaS) and XML web services) have adapted to more industry neutral standards.

According to the Institute for Partner Education & Development, systems integrators generally realize about 50 percent of revenue from technical implementation consulting services and 40 percent from IT services in design and post-project support consulting.

Popular system integrators in the Customer Relationship Management software industry include Accenture, Cap Gemini, CSC, Deloitte, Fujitsu and IBM.
